Sign up for the Summer Reading program begins Tuesday, May 29.
The Summer Reading Program (SRP) is free and open to Westford children and out of town Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library from preschool to those entering 4th grade in September. Older children entering 5th grade and up are encouraged to participate in the 'Tween and 'Teen program, Build a Better World. Once a week children bring their reading log to show what they have been reading and collect a special weekly prize or a raffle ticket chance towards a bigger prize awarded at the end of the summer reading program.
Children who are read to can also come to the library on a weekly basis to collect a prize for their week of listening. They are encouraged to draw a picture of a story they heard.
