Celebrate, The Chinese New Year with us: Drop in to the Children’s Room, day or night, and you will find a FREE, craft time waiting for you! Make a special bookmark and choose a Chinese cookie with a CUSTOMIZED fortune! While you are visiting us don’t forget to look for: a beautiful Chinese quilt (see if you can spot the pandas) and an adorable teddy bear wearing a traditional Chinese jacket.

Dinoman: What better way (and the most fun) to learn about the Mesozoic Era than to share a space with not one, not two, but three LIFE-SIZE dinosaurs. (Well at least to-the-ceiling-of-the-Meeting-Room sized dinosaurs.) This program is educational and funny, but the best part is when it's over and the kids get to have their photos taken next to dinosaurs! Tickets ($2.00) go on sale in Youth Services on Monday, February 2nd. For ages 5 and up.

Nashoba Quilters for Habitat for Humanity: Join us for a special evening when the Nashoba Quilters unveil their 2008 Westford Quilt. This will be a cozy evening of stories (with quilt themes of course); families will be welcome to snuggle under homemade quilts during the Storytime. This event is for all ages, for anyone who loves quilts and/or is supportive of organizations like Habit for Humanity!

Under One Sky: Diverse Stories and Songs with a Celtic Flavor: Davis Bates and Roger Tincknell amaze children --have you ever seen an instrument called a Bodhran or an Irish Bazouki, or have you watched someone play the spoons? The songs and stories of this spirited duo always rev up audiences so that they can’t help but participate in the fun. Tickets ($2.00) go on sale on Monday, March 2 in Youth Services.

BUBBLEMANIA: Comic Casey Carle is famous for mesmerizing his audiences with soap, soap bubbles to be exact. He can shape bubble masterpieces like the “square” bubble, or the Spaceship that rotates, or the volcano that erupts, and his finale (encasing a child from the audience in a bubble) will leave you gasping. For ages 5 and up. Tickets ($2.00) go on sale Monday, April 6.
