HOW THE
SUMMER READING CLUB
WORKS

Summer Reading Club is a
self-paced program that encourages you to read throughout the summer and try out something new.

1. Pick up a Summer Reading Club Log when you register at the Library for the Teen & Tween Summer Reading Program.

2. Read or listen to age-appropriate books. These can include: audiobooks, Playaways, online  books, graphic novels, fiction, and/or non-fiction books in any genre…reading over the summer months is the goal.

>>> For Westford Public School Summer Reading Lists, check out the School's website: http://westfordk12.us/pages/Curric/summerread

3. Write down the book titles on the Summer Reading Club Log sheet.

4. Visit the Youth Services Department each week and show the Librarian what you have been reading for a raffle ticket for our weekly and grand prize raffles.

5. HAVE FUN READING!

BONUS INFORMATION:
1. Check out your books at one of our service desks and receive an additional Raffle Ticket for one of our weekly or grand prize raffles.  One ticket per day.

2. If you are away, you can participate in our Summer Reading Club, too.  Just keep track of your reading over the summer months and email them and your prize selection for the week to: Kira, the Young Adult Librarian at: kmcgann@westfordma.gov
