Ancestry.com Library Edition - This database is only available from terminals within the Library. This extensive genealogy database includes over 1.5 billion names. LANGUAGE LEARNING

Rosetta Stone  This database can be accessed from the Library or home with your MVLC Library barcode number.  The first time you use the database, you will be asked to create a username and password. Use this interactive database to learn how to speak English (U.S.), English (U.K.), French, German, Greek, Italian, Russian, Spanish (Latin America), and Spanish (Spain). Chinese Language Magazines This database can be accessed with your Massachusetts library barcode number.  Follow the link,  type in your barcode #, scroll down to "non-english language " and select Qikan Library.  This database provides access to 100 magazines published in China, you can read articles in either traditional or simplified characters.  Here you'll find magazines for all different age groups on topics from fashion to current affairs.
