Click on the "down arrow" under the heading "Online Catalog" and choose a Library name. Remember, even if you choose Westford (The J. V. Fletcher Library) the records that will display reflect all the holdings of all the Merrimack Valley Libraries. If Westford owns the title or format you have searched for you will see our name, the call number, and the status (checked in or checked out) directly under each edition/format. Even if we do not own the title you can choose "More Copies" or "Other Locations" and place a request for that item.
When placing a hold you need to enter:
1) Library ID = Your Library card barcode number
2) PIN number = the last four digits of your phone number.
Holds for newly released videos that are on order, but not yet in the Fletcher Library collection, can be requested by filling out a Purchase Request online or in person at the Library.
Being a member of the Consortium allows our patrons to search the holdings of 36 member libraries and to place requests on any items in those libraries that circulate; patrons may view their accounts remotely, request materials on-line and renew materials for which there is no waiting list.
Didn't find what you were looking for in the Merrimack Valley Consortium? You can search and request items from other Massachusetts Library Consortiums through the Virtual Catalog. Please note, if the item is held by any library in the MVLC consortium, you can not request it through the Virtual Catalog.
