Zinio Digital Magazines

In order to use Zinio, A FRIENDS FALL APPEAL funded service, you must view our website in IE 10 or greater, Mozilla, Safari, or Google Chrome.

Follow the steps below to set up access to Zinio. Have you already completed the registration process?  


Download FREE digital copies of magazines such as Smithsonian, Us Weekly, Bloomberg Businessweek, Vegetarian Times, MacWorld, Prevention, and the list goes on and on! You will have the option to choose from over fifty titles of today’smost popular magazines.  Once an issue is downloaded, it’s yours to keep. There are no waiting lists, and you can download as many magazines as you want.  Selected back issues are also available for download.

You must create two accounts—a Library Zinio account using your Library card number  to browse and check out magazines (if you already have an Indieflix account through the Library, sign in with that e-mail and password) and a free Zinio accountto read the magazines. YOU MUST USE THE SAME EMAIL AND PASSWORD FOR BOTH ACCOUNTS.


 
1. Connect to Zinio to create a free account.

2. Create your free Library Zinio account.  You will need your Library card number.  Click on the "Create New Account" link in the top right hand corner.  REMEMBER YOU MUST USE THE SAME EMAIL AND PASSWORD FOR BOTH ACCOUNTS.
        
3.  Every time you use Zinio to check out magazines (via your browser), you will have to login to checkout and you will have to enter your login information a second time to "Start Reading".

Click on “Check Out Now” under the magazine title that you wish to check out. You will be prompted to sign in again. There is no limit on the number of magazines that can be checked out.  There are no hold lists.  Copies of the magazines are always available.

There are no returns, once you check out and download the magazine, you own it.

You must check out magazines via an Internet browser.  You can download a free Zinio app (from your device's app store, excpet for Kindle Fire, please see instructions below) to read magazines on your mobile devices. You must be on-line to download magazines to your device.  Once the magazines are downloaded, you can read them offline. IF YOU WANT TO DOWNLOAD THE APP FOR THE KINDLE FIRE, YOU MUST OPEN THIS PAGE FROM THE BROWSER ON YOUR KINDLE FIRE AND CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW TO DOWNLOAD THE APP. THE ZINIO APP IS NOT AVAILABLE FROM THE AMAZON APP STORE.
