Cosmic Tie-Dye: Monday, July 11 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Learn about the art of Tie-Dye where the designs and possibilities are endless. Then make a variety of cool Cosmic Tie-Dye samples. All materials will be provided. * Sign-up begins Monday, June 27, 2011. |
Jedi Knight Swordplay: Thursday, July 14 from 7 to 8 p.m. Wield a Lightsaber like Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader from Star Wars and learn many of the elements of Jedi Philosophy and Lightsaber combat derived from ancient sword techniques. * Sign-up begins Monday, June 27, 2011. |
Alien Chef Food Challenge: Monday, July 18 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Compete in the ultimate space snack competition. Make Martian milkshakes, UFO dessert pizzas, and a surprise extraterrestrial dish. Materials will be supplied. * Sign-up begins Tuesday, July 5, 2011. |

Twilight Zone Final Party: Wednesday, August 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Celebrate the end of the Summer at the Library’s Teen/Tween Party. Frisbee Freestyle World Champion,Todd Brodeur, will join us and demonstrate his out-of-this-world Frisbee tricks and then teach a series of tricks and catches to his audience. Grand Prizes will be drawn and ice cream will be served. Sign-up is not required. |
