David Polansky brings a fabulous rainbow of original songs to the Library Meeting Room. He improvises songs on the spot, explains how he creates each work, invites audience questions and promises loads of fun for everyone. Delayed school opening  the next day so come to the Meeting Room and join the fun.

Tickets ($2.00 for adults and children) go on sale Monday, February 26 at the Youth Services desk. This program is appropriate for children ages 5 and up, with an adult.

Come spend a delightful hour at the Library. Listen to a stringed instrument orchestra of eleven talented area young people accompanied by concert pianist, Leslie Hitelman. The program will include the Bach Keyboard Concerto in F minor, 1st movement and solo works by members of the orchestra. The orchestra will be made up of students ages 11-18 from Westford, Andover and Concord plus three professional string players. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions and mingle with the musicians after the program.

This program is appropriate for ages 10 and up. Tickets ($2.00) go on sale Monday, March 12 at the Youth Services Desk. Your membership in the Friends of the J. V. Fletcher Library, Inc. makes this program possible.

The piano was given to the Library in Memory of K. Evelyn (Healy) Rossi, 1907-1995.
