A Family Concert to Remember with Johnny the K

Wednesday, June 25

@ 4 p.m.

in the Meeting Room

You’ll love John Kelleher's zany, interactive, fun-filled music and comedy show.  Everyone will be singing, dancing, and clapping along with Johnny and wearing his wild collection of disguises and hats.  Wear a goofy hat of your own if you like! All ages with an adult.

Tickets ($2.00 each for children & adults) go on sale Monday, June 9 in the Youth Services Department.

 

 

Jeff Danger, Science Ranger

Tuesday, July 1 @ 4 p.m.

Tues. July 1: 4 p.m.  Watch as Jeff's fast-paced, fun, and flabbergasting demonstrations of natural forces inspire the scientist in all of us. Come see the “Helmut of Doom,” robots, soda geysers, vortex cannon and more! Ages 5-12 with an adult.

Tickets ($2.00 each for children & adults) go on sale Monday, June 16 in the Youth Services Department.

 

 Gators, Grizzlies & Octopi, Oh My!

Think writing a book about animals is easy and safe? Come listen to Judith Jango-Cohen relate through her stories, photos, props, puppets, sound effects, and music, her humorous and sometimes harrowing adventures with animals. Judith is a naturalist, photographer, and children's book author. For ages 6 and up with an adult.

This FREE program is Funded by the Westford Cultural Council, a local agency, supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. No registration is needed.

 

Musical Adventure Concert with Cheryl Melody

 

Thursday, July 10: 11 a.m.

An interactive family concert for the little ones with singing, creative movement, stories, puppets, finger plays, parades, bounces, and fun! Parents will enjoy Cheryl's parenting-through-music tips. All ages with an adult.

Tickets ($2.00 for children and adults) go on sale Monday, June 30th in the Youth Services department.

 

Music for Little Ones Lawn Concert 

Tuesday, July 15th @ 12:30 p. m.

under the big tree

Join Marcus Gale for a lawn concert full of rhymes, finger plays, songs, and fun! Bring a blanket and a picnic and enjoy the fun under the big tree.  If it rains, eat before you come. Concert will be indoors. All ages with an adult.

This program is free; no registration is necessary.

 

 

Gerwick Puppets Present Aladdin & the Magic Lamp

 

 

Wednesday, July 23 @ 4:00 p.m.

Deborah Costine and Lenny Gerwick once again bring their magical puppets to our library! Come be mesmerized by the story of Aladdin and The Magic Lamp and awed by the gorgeous scenes and costumes. For ages 5 and up with an adult.

Tickets ($2.00 for children and adults) go on sale Monday, July 7th in the Youth Services department.

 

Mountain Mushers

Harry and Lela Schlitz bring the nation's only hero sled dog educational/therapy team to the Library. They share stories about their wonderful dogs as both racers and Book Buddies, Want to see a real sled dog team and sled? Come meet Su, Pixie, and Sorrel and learn about dog sledding. Ages 5 & up with an adult.

Tickets ($2.00 for children and adults) go on sale Monday, July 7th in the Youth Services department.

 

Drop-In Craft

Tuesday, July 29th from 10 a.m. - noon

in the Meeting Room

Come spend some time on a hot day creating cool butterflies and caterpillars. Watch the magic as wings fill with color and caterpillars grow long. Great for ages 3 - 8 with an adult.

This program is free; no registration is necessary.

Thursday, August 7th

under the Big Top tent at Noon

Come to our FREE End of Summer Party from 11:30 a. m. - 1 p. m. Jackson Gillman will bring "Levity in Motion" to the Big Top at noon. Don't miss his mime, songs, stories and airborne exploits. Bring a picnic and enjoy the show. The Library will provide lemonade and cake. All ages with an adult are welcome.

   Music and More Lawn Concert                           

Wednesday, Augugust 13th

12:30 p.m. under the big tree

Join Michael and Stephanie for our final summer concert. This duo brings songs, finger plays, puppets and more to entertain the youngest listeners. Bring a blanket and a picnic and enjoy the fun under the big tree. If it rains, eat before you come. Concert will be indoors. All ages with an adult.
